Prior to establishing Sarasin Consulting Group, Ms. Sarasin worked as a healthcare consultant for three national healthcare consulting firms where she specialized in auditing, training and product development for coding and billing compliance. She  was the technical editor for St. Anthony’s Outpatient Reference Manual, co-author for St. Anthony’s APG Implementation Guide, technical editor for St. Anthony’s APG Source Book, contributing editor to St. Anthony’s Gearing Up for APGs (Overview and Impact of your Operations and Impact of your Clinical Operations) and technical editor for St. Anthony’s HCPCS Alert Newsletter.

With over fourteen (14) years of experience at a 350-bed acute care hospital, Ms. Sarasin's hands-on experience in the various operational processes of a health information department has given her a broad perspective of the global medical record workflow processes and the outside influences that impact coding, reimbursement and compliance.
